Akira
Journal Entry: Sat Jul 5, 2008, 7:54 PM
I just saw Akira again. Damn. That's all I can say. I saw it a couple years ago when I didn't really understand how visually and conceptually genius this movie was. The characters, the story, the music, everything about this movie is genius. Now I remember why Akira is considered one of the most prestigious animations in history. I need to get this manga, and other stuff by Katsuhiro Otomo, because this movie is truly inspirational. If anybody is reading this journal who hasn't seen this movie, get off your ass and go rent it, or watch it on Veoh like I did- you won't regret it. Just prepare to be inspired like hell.
